I finally found a theme that I liked…so, until the next upgrade, this is it. Now lets see if it encourages me to post more
My second foster, Bruno, has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Bruno lived with me for 3 1/5 years. We found out 3 months ago that he had cancer, and put him on some medication that would give him a little more time. But this morning it became obvious that he was failing. So, this morning, I said goodbye to my “old man”
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….

the last update left me themeless. I am trying to find something I like…till then, we are stuck with this … yuck
I just got a note that one of my favorite cats at the shelter died overnight. Lenny came when he was a little kitten, very shy and scared. He had the biggest eyes, looked like a little owl. I used to pick him up and hold him, hoping that he would get used to the love. I will miss Little Lenny…my little Owl Eyes. See you on the other side of the bridge…

The books rock! Stephenie is a great writer…even “The Host” is a great book. I am definitely a “Twi-Mom”!
The movie, however…well, I am glad that the books made her lots of money…I hated the movie (sorry Steph) Nothing in the movie was right, I would have walked out after 30 minutes if it were not for the fact that my eldest wanted to see it. (she doesn’t like the movie either). Maybe they can redo the movie…heck they had a redo for “The Hulk”
