Wow, I am posting this on time! Here are another 13 things about Me!

1. I started working at the age of 13, for a local stable, for $2 per hour.
2. I dislike the cold and snow in the winter, yet I have lived in the Northeast for all but 2 years of my life.
3. I am Lactose intolerant, but I love Mint Chocolate Chip Icecream…
4. I don’t sleep when normal people sleep. I joke that I am becoming a vampire.
5. I picture myself as a much younger person, and can’t believe that I am growing older which is why I dye my hair and refuse grow old gracefully. Yes, I really am blonde.
6. I love to make things. I have made two quilts; one I gave to a freinds son, the other is on my bed. I taught myself how to crochet, and I am pretty good at it. I also make my own jewelry.
7. I spend way to much time on the computer. I have a NeoPets account, with over 6 Million Neopoints, and I read blogs for at least 4 hours a day.
8. I dislike cooking, but if I don’t cook noone eats.
9. I own a telescope, but I don’t get to use it much.
10. I once owned a treadmill and it doubled as a place to put stuff.
11. I have been out of the country 3 times in my life. Once to the Bahamas, and twice to Canada.
12. I have been to at least half the states in the US.
13. I have seen a Wyoming Sunset, it was the most beautiful sights I have seen. I have seen the stars in Nebraska. I didn’t know that there were that many stars in the sky.

someone needs to remind me to post my thursday thirteen, well, on Tuesday. I seem to get into a bunch of little projects (cleaning suns room, laundry, dishes, crochet, ect) and completely forget until it is Friday!

OK, with my daughter gone this week, returning today (it is Friday isnt it?) 13 things that my daughter went to see this week while on her trip. For obvious reasons, mainly safety, I am only putting the locations of the main Historical Sites.

1. To school. she went to the school at 5:45am and got on the busses which left at about 6:15
2. Lunch at an Old Country Buffet (one of several stops at this loverly establishment)
3. National Constitution Center, Independance Park, Philadelphia, PA and then On the road again
4. Dinner at…Old Country Buffet and to the Hotel for the night
5. Jamestown Festival Park, for lunch and guided tour
6. Ghost Tour in Williamsburg
7. Colonial Williamsburg
8. Memorials in Washington DC. Lincoln, Washington,Viet Nam, Korean, WWII
9. Arlington National Cemetery (where the Show Choir, which my daughter is a part of, sang the National Anthem
10. Bowling!
11. Gettysburg Visitors center, and Gettysburg Battlefield Tour
12. Lunch at an Amish Restaurant
13. Home Sweet Home!

Thirteen Things I forgot today 1. To do this list before 11:45pm this evening 2. To bring my license to the bank…resulting in two trips 3. 13 things about Dawn

1. I am female, I am 30 something, and I don’t admit to my age.
2. I am married and I have two children.
3. My daughter is 12 and my son is 5.
4. I spent 6 years as a single mother before I married.
5. I love to read, and I love to garden.
6. I have a pond which contains 2 Koi, at least 9 goldfish, at least 2 frogs, some snails, and at least one crawfish.
7. I love horses, I have never owned one though.
8. I love cats, and have owned 5 during my life. My first cat was named Tiger. He was the brother to my mothers two cats. After a tragic accident, I got my second and third cats, named Samantha and Satan. My forth cat is Socks and my fifth cat is Abby. I also have one foster kitty named Blackie.
9. I suffer from Migraines…and I do mean suffer.
10. I love listening to my waterfall and my windchimes.
11. I have a pet cow living in my deep-freezer, named Din-Din2. I love a good ribsteak cooked on the grill with lots of bbq sauce. DinDin one was a very good cow
12. I have never met most of my best friends, I talk with most of them online.
13. I fear growing old. I picture myself as a much younger person, and can’t believe that I am growing older. I dye my hair to get rid of the grey hairs.

Thirteen Things I should do today…but probably won’t 1. Vaccum the apartment 2. Dishes…and more dishes 3. Sort through the pile of papers I am collecting in a nice, not so neat, pile. 4. As I blog every day, there is one blog (So this is life?) that I usually end up stopping by at least 2 or 3 times. This site has a song (”Live like you were dying” byTim McGraw) that I like, but dread hearing. I know my last sentence really doesnt make a whole lot of sense…but it is true. Since the first time I heard this song, it has made me think of my Dad. At first, I wanted to make a copy of the song and give it to him. Now it reminds me of him.

Add to that the fact that this coming Sunday I will be, um 29….yeah, 29 years old…

As the heading of this post says, I have finished another blanket. This one will be a gift to one of the new moms in my church. I took a picture just a minute ago, but…the batteries in the camera need to be recharged. So, I will get to share that with everyone tomorrow.

Today was a good day for my family to recharge as well. I have had a horrid migraine all day and spent much of the day trying to sleep through it. Eldest child has a nasty cold/cough/sore throat, and the boys, just had a quiet day at home. But tomorrow is back to school/work.

I was looking at this site just a little bit ago, when I realized that I forgot my Thursday Thirteen…so this week I will work on a really good list of things and have it posted on time Sorry to those who dropped by and couldnt find my Thursday post.
