I enjoyed reading this wonderful blog…She is the Mom to a third grader…and like me, is a ‘cool mom’. (at least my kids think so) Palm Tree Princess is definately worth a look…enjoy

It wasnt to bad, but I definately am feeling tired . My little feetsies hurt…probably more from my new sneakers, but I had to break them in someday. So, It’s official, I am now a part-time stay at home mom. I am only working 2-3 times a week and only for 4 hours at a time, so it defieately isnt taking to much time away from home…whats even better, I will get to work during the day, a couple times a week, so I will not have that much time away from the family (wait…maybe that is a bad thing, only kidding kids)

I have had rented space on several blogs, so I want to welcome anyone new to my little haunt. I have lots of nooks where you can find stuff. I love to make things…and have pictures of them over at the Craft Shoppe And my kitties have their own space over at Top hat and Tails.

OK, it is late (or is that early) and I should try to sleep. The kitties are playing, which means I should be sleeping.

I have been a little bad…I did not write a post till now about my tenant for the week.

Usually, Socks is the sleeping sitter, but lately Abby has decided that if the chair is empty (or if Socks is in it) she will curl up and take a nap. My little Minx is coming along so well, at times I want to just walk up to her and give her a little pet. She would run if I did though. This evening I held Abby for about 4 hours; she slept, purred, and was so happy to be in her little sleeping bag. I wish she would trust me a little more.

Yesterday, Abby was chasing Socks, I think that she forgot that I was sitting in the room, she went right under my legs a couple times! I sat so still so I wouldnt disturb her or scare her off.

Yesterday, I got little done around the house, as I was out most of the day helping a friend. I did spend some time with my neighbor, who is helping me to learn to knit…one of the things I thought I would have a difficult time learning. I am still alot better at crochet than knitting, but at least I will know how to do both. I still have two crochet projects to finish before I can think about starting yet another project. My goal is to finish one blanket this month and the other next month.

My Tenant this week is Grace of Life According to Princess Grace. I have seen her site several times while blogging and have enjoyed reading (not sure if I have commented though). Please stop by her site and say hello.

I was reading another blog (I dont know who though). This blogger said that she started a new ‘game’ seeing where the renters lead her. She would start on her own site and click on the renter on each of the sites that she was lead to. I have tried this several times and find it interesting to see who is out there. Give it a try! it is kinda fun.

I really need/want to get up from the couch right now, but I don’t want to scare my little minx from the spot on the floor. She is sitting about a foot away from my feet and she is laying there calmly! I dont dare move though…she will run right under my bed. She is starting to get closer and closer to me when she comes out, but she is still so skittish. She watches me and at time almost walks right up to me. So close…I just want to reach down and pet her. she has the softest fur. I love my little Abby-girl.

Hopefully my little feral girl will learn to trust me.
