Well, finishing the necklace didnt take as long as I thought it would.

I am happy with how it turned out.
This weekend I was able to finish a project that I really didnt think I was going to be able to do, when I started. I did figure it out though…and this is what I ended up with….Dragonscale bracelet

I however, was not able to finish the necklace in time for church, so I ended up with this, as a matching piece.
I am going to finish the necklace within the next few days, so pictures will be coming soon. The bracelet will not be taking a space in the Craft Shoppe, mostly because of the time that it takes to make it.
It has been a while since I have written or added anything to my Craft Shoppe, so I thought that I would post here and let you know that I now have my Jewelry in the Shoppe. You can click on any of the pictures to go to the page you would like to see.

This afternoon I finally decided to do something with some of the turquise beeds that I have…
Not much happened today. The kids did give their dad their gifts, and we made dinner for him. I have had a headache all day, so I havent felt like doing much of anything… Maybe tomorrow.

It has been a Saturday for me. I was able to buy me salad and plant it in my garden (tomato, cucumber, pepper and lettuce plants). I went to the craft store and got what I needed to make a necklace for my daughters grandma, supplies to redo a couple necklaces for my mom, and make a watch band for myself…

I have to get a few things done around the house before bed… but before I do, I want to introduce my new renter.
It was a difficult choice for me, I had a couple really good choices this week, but as I spend half of my life crocheting a blanket or something else, I had to pick her. So, Please check out her site and let her know that you are visiting.

I have the jewelry making bug it seems. I made this one today, after finding some neat beads.
Once the kids went to sleep, I found myself looking at the bead book that I picked up. I wanted to make something nice, but not to over the top. I had a picture of this necklace, but no directions. The picture wasnt even that good, but it was good enough for me to follow. So here is my second creation
I will have to take pictures tomorrow, it is to dark now for me to get really good pictures.
I was asked to come up with a ‘craft’ to teach to the ladies at church, so I picked bead jewelry. I have made and repaired several of my own peices of jewelry, so I picked jewelry making. I have been to several of the craft stores and what I spent, is considered a national secret. I had fun and picked up lots of different beads and findings, and a good book. So, last night I made this…
My daughter saw it and fell in love. So, I will be giving this to her for her 13th birthday, this week.
