]]>I did have a good Thanksgiving, thank you.
I love my cats, I think that sums it up pretty good.
Two summers ago, I was adopted by a wonderful 3 year old Tux male. He is a very affectionate kitty and I just dont know how life would go on without him. He was tested and came back FIV+. Basically, he cant go outside, he cantcome in contact with other cats who are not FIV+. When the windows closed in the fall, he started crying at the door…for about 6 weeks. I tried just about everything to find a way to get him to stop. Finally I started making phone calls and found Abby. She is a feral 6 year old Mama kitty, also FIV+. Then my dad died. When I returned, I recieved a phone call from a shelter, asking if I would like to adopt a FIV+ cat. I already had Abby and thought that it would be to much for her. But it was cold outside and Blackie meeded a place that wasnt freezing cold. So I took him in. Blackie has since been adopted by my family.
We moved to a house so we have more room, so it was only natural that I would help more kitties. I am not adopting any of these though. I think that 3 is a good number, fosters will have to find homes, but when they do, I can help other kitties.
My cats have their own site Top Hat and Tails
