A place for everything

I love my basement, I think it is the best room in the house. The apartment that we were living in, did not have any place for storage, so we filled the walk-in closets and various unused corners to store things. When we were packing, I went through the boxes and repacked everything, so now I know what is in most of the boxes. The best part is that I dont have to look at those boxes…unless I want to.

I love my basement.

Since you have a computer and prolly a printer you could have set up a database in Excel or another program even word and made a *Numbered List* of the boxes and what was in them and print it out for future reference… :)

That is a good idea…and I already have a written list, it will take time for me to get it into the computer

I still have boxes in my loft unopened from when I moved here nearly 13 years ago ………….

Oh, I hope that I am able to narrow down the boxes I have fairly soon

Urg.. I wish I had a basement. I’m stuck doing the same thing you did in the apartment.

the funny thing is that I have a fairly good sized basement and whatever it was that I was storing in the apartment…has filled the basement. I have only a few days left for getting things straightened away at the apartment, then I will be making sense of the maze of boxes downstairs.
