Thursday Thirteen!
13 Things I need daily to survive this world (or so I think)
1. I nice cup of coffee.
2. Lots and Lots of sleep.
3. Any one of my many perscriptions.
4. Sunshine. I really do need to see sunshine sometime during the day.
5. My fur-babies. Socks, Abby and Blackie are so very important to me. The make me laugh, smile and comfort me when I am not feeling well. Socks has learned the signs of when I am getting a headache, and he checks on me to make sure I am ok.
6. My computer. between IMing, Neopets and blogging, I spend about 6 hours on the computer each day.
7. TV. I have a few favorite shows, but sometimes it is just background noise
8. Crafts. My hands must create things, I am either crocheting or making jewelry or some other craft.
9. My kids. Eldest helps out so much, Youngest has so much energy. Between the two, I could go insane.
10. My van. OK, this makes me a “Mini-van Mom” but it is so much nicer than the cars I have owned.
11. Digital Camera. I dont know what I would do with all the extra time that I would have if I didnt have my camera. I sit and take 50+ pictures of the cats, the garden…whatever, just because. Then I get to go through and pick whichever one is the best. There is a method to my madness.
12. Music. I really like my music. I listen to country, and have several artists that I really enjoy…also some that I dont like at all, but that is what CD’s are for 
13. Little fake mice. This one has to do with my cats. I love to pick out a couple fake mice for the cats when I am at the pet store. I always say I am getting them for Abby, as she is the one who plays with them the most. She gets so involved in playing that she forgets that she isnt supposed to avoid me.

mmmmm… coffee…..
as for sunshine, what’s that? (remember, I’m in Washington….)
I would trade you right about the middle of summer when we get none and the grass is brown. How does every other day sound? Or, we will take the rain for 12 hours? as long as the kids get some time outside each day

I DEFINITELY cannot live without 2, 6, 11 and 12. 7 used to be on that list too, but I gave a lot of it up this year. Getting a computer had absolutely nothing to do with it.

I for sure would need 11 and 12 as well. Well and #1 every mornng wouldn’t be so bad either.
My digital camera goes just about everywhere with me. Coffee is a must

Coffee and alot of sleep are “a must”. I spend more than 6 hrs browsing/blogging etc and I also do take alot of pics but from my mobile and yes i also pick up some that are the best only.

I agree…they are a must. I am awake so late at night, I dont know what I would do if I were not on the computer

Definately need the sleep and the Tv. Even just for noise until I hook up my speakers. I am going to do that this weekend if it kills me.

The TV is on mow…and I am half listening. I want to hear the news but I am only paying attention to things that I want…might help that the computer screen is in such a way that the TV screen is right off to the side…

Coffee is probably part of my problem as well. I actually drink it because of my Migraines. the Caffine works to dilate the blood vessels in the brain…

I’m a minivan mom too!! *high five* I love it also… and also think it’s nicer than any car I have ever owned.
When my son was born, I owned a Pntiac Grand Prix…nice car, unless your are trying to put a baby in a car seat…Now I dont have to get out of the car to go back and solve any problems…gotta love it!

I can easily relate to #9 although my middle one tends to climb the walls too. #7 is also a big thing in this house; although I’m trying to cut down the background noise.
Is that your black cat above the calendar? It’s a gorgeous cat!
the black tux cat on the calendar is my Socks. Last summer he chose to live with us. I didnt have the heart to kick him out. I love cats, so when he chose us I was overjoyed, even though we are not supposed to have animals in our complex…nasty people. My cats are better behaved than most of the teenagers in the complex.

I’m with you on the sleep. I can’t seem to get enough sleep. I never want to get up in morning. UGH!

#1…Me, too! Actually SEVERAL cups of coffee.
#2…I can only dream of lots of sleep. I can’t go to sleep any earlier than midnight anymore and my kids are early risers.
#3…I have two that help me through the day.
#4…I’ll take a cloudy day over sun any day. I hate to be hot and sweaty.
#5…I don’t have any yet, but since my husband is history, maybe now I can get one. He hates cats.
#6…Me, too…especially since I have an on-line business.
#7…The TV is always on here, too.
#8…Me, too!
#9…My kids are great…and very helpful when they want to be. They also drive me crazy!
#10…I L-O-V-E my mini-van! I wish we had bought one years ago!
#11…I LOVE my camera! I take tons and tons of photos everyday. It drives my kids crazy!
#12….I’m a music freak! I always have music playing on my computer…and the kitchen …and the car. I’m a huge country music fan, but I have a rock n’ roll side, too.
#13…none yet…but just wait til I get a kitty!

I am glad that you want to get a kitty. I am a foster-mom to Blackie, my big Maine Coon, and I can not urge you enough to consider getting a shelter cat (sorry I am very passionate) My cats are all FIV+, there are so many kitties that need a home, I hope that you find one that fits with you. If I lived closer to you , I would introduce you to Blackie, he is such a sweety. he isnt much of a lap kitty, but does like to sit beside me and get scritches. (he is sitting beside me, with his pay on my leg, when I stop to type, he pushes on my leg)

Oh, yes, yes! I need so many of these too. Coffee - a definite must! My kitties - I can’t imagine my life without them. Love my computer and blogging. Definitely a plus having the digital camera.

Lovely list. My kitties are my best buddies too! And I am always doing crafts of some kind! And digital cameras are the best. Cheaper by the picture and fun to learn too!

I love my country music too! I can’t help but comment also on the pretty Iris photo - that is a gorgeous color! I only have the traditional purples but I do have a “creeping iris” that is growing.. just not creeping or blooming yet. It spreads like a spider plant and has babies. Great TT. -Margie
Thank you:) It is unusual…unfortunately, I think that we might have lost the rest of the iris after yesterdays storms. Most were bent over and flowers were broken off.

That is soooo sweet how Socks knows and checks on you!!! I need the sunshine too. When I wake up in the morning I like to feel it on my face first thing through my window.

Wonderful list! I can relate to the coffee…the camera, the kids, the sleep, the drugs…especially the drugs…don’t know what I would be like with out all of mine and I don’t want to know either!
Oh, I am not sure I would be able to get out of bed without my drugs…I have almost constant migraines. I dont want to go off my drugs or be without them

LOL…I get more sleep now that the kids are both in school. Not a problem, I am just happy that I made my rounds early yesterday…or it would not have gotten done. We lost power about 4pm and didnt get it back till after midnight. I went through Computer Withdrawal…

The only toy my cat likes is little fake mice, sadly when we moved she can’t play with them now since there is no room in which the mice can be without my dogs eating them (not such good dog toys more of a choking hazard for them really than a toy)! But she does play with the dogs more now. She also found real mice one day. Country living is such fun!
Yes, dogs and little mice probably arent a good thing. I am not really a dog person…and I am not sure I want to test my luck. we arnt supposed to have pets here.

No problem, I lost power in the afternoon yesterday and didnt have a chance to return/reply till this morning. I definately missed my computer last night, but it did give me a chance to catch up on a book that I am reading

I love music, too. iTunes revolutionized the way I listen to and buy music. I can buy one or two songs from people I like, create a list and burn a CD of stuff I really want. I can add music to theme it and make CDs. I love it.
I currently have the new Dixie Chicks (which we did buy to support them) and I am loving it.

Another mom with 3 Furrbabies. Snowball, aka Garfield II, he’s a gorgeous white Tiger with blue eyes!Ruby and Sweets are calico sisters. I can’t even open my eyes in the morning without 2 cups of coffee. I’m glad you stopped by my TT! Your blue Iris is gorgeous. Have a great weekend.
