Blue Iris
I have been waiting for this particular Iris to bloom. I had forgotten that I had this color so when the buds started I was shocked to see that they were not white. It is a pleasant suprise.

Hey, thankyou for the comment. A load of flowers are coming up in my garden too. Haven’t got a clue about their names. I’ll try and take a picture of them. My mum loves our garden because we have 3 different types of flowers that come up at different times in the year and we don’t have to do anything. I sohuld know the names of that type of plant seen as we did it in biology but it’s half-term…my brain cells have died…

Very pretty! I just noticed that my iris’ started blooming yesterday. The one that is currently blooming is a pale blue.

Great pic! love that blue, I have several iris photos from my garden up on my blog, but no blue!
I havent had this one bloom before so the color of the flowers was totally a suprise to me. I jsut love it
