Post-Mothers Day
This basically discribes the state of my house after a day off…

OK, it isnt to bad. I did have a sink FULL of dirty dishes, the laundry still needs to be done and the floor really could use a vacuuming. I am going to try to get everything caught up tomorr…er, today so that I can make the house imaculate for my daughters Nona and Uncle who will be visiting this Friday. No pressure
Mothers Day was wonderful. I started the Pot Roast on Saturday night so that I wouldnt have to cook. My daughter tried to make me a cake, which was great (a bit flat though). My family got me stargazer lilies, so I can put them in the garden to make up for the ones that the skunk apparently ate. I was given some pretty flowers at church as well, and I think it is time to plant the marigolds and morning glories, though I would like it to stop raining for a day or so, so that the poor things wont get washed away.
I am out of my regulare Migraine meds, so I have resorted to Excedrine…and now I am so hyper I dont know if I will get any sleep tonight. Thankfully, I can get my meds filled on Tuesday. Oh well, I hope that everyone has a great week!

Just passing through in Blogazoo … and speaking of Mother’s Day on my part, I did call my own mother in Caledonia, MN yesterday.
She turns 85 next month, and admits to being lonely on occasion. Not to mention having to deal with taking no less than 30 different “meds” over the course of a day for Type II diabetes, heart conditions, rheumatoid arthritis, diverticulosis…. You can easily understand what can go through her.
I called my Mom too. Thankfully my Mom is healthy (that I know of), I am not sure that I could handle another loss right now. I have to get through Fathers day, that will be bad enough. I hope that your Mom is well, getting old isnt something I look forward to.

I like your blog, I write three blogs and think it is a lot of fun. I too have a messy house. I wish there was more time in the day and I could get everything done. Sorry to hear your without your migraine meds I get migraines too and they are the worst. If you have a chance check out my blog.

I enjoyed my visit to your site. Cooking isnt one of my favorite things to do, but I want to eat so…
There are not enough hours…and with kids, it seems that half the free time disappears before I know it.
I am dealing with my migraines…sometimes better than others.
