<strong>Thank you, we are recovering well, I hope. With the weather turning cold, I hope that we dont get sick again to soon.

Oh, I relate to this. My son had strep, but no symptoms. So, he got to spend 3 days out of school thanks to me not catching it. UGH. That translates into 3 days of my being "the entertainer." And, we have Monday off for MLK. SIGH! Get well soon!

<strong>My son had it first, and we didnt even know it...till the rest of us got sick a bit later. My daughter went to school for 2 days before she was put on anti-biotics. Our neighbors daughter got it yesterday, probably from my daughter

Sorry to hear that! I'm coming down with a cold and a little bit sore throat also that has been increasing, but yours is much 'farther' that mine as I can still move around without much difficulty, but I guess I'm getting there. I hope you and your family get better soon. I didn't know about that about Strep Throat; I hope the prescription works fast. Online it says that meds for treating Trep Throat should work within 48 hours or so.

Gas price is gettnig expensive, isn't it!?

<strong>Thank you. We didnt have the 'white dots' that you normally get with strep, our throats were just red. We are all on the mend now and hopefully will be 100% soon.

Gas is up to $2.37!

I haven't had strep throat in about 45 years, but I used to have it on a monthly basis till I had my tonsils out at 5 ... and then every couple of years till I was about 14.

It is so PAINFUL ... and miserable ... and rotten ... and to have everyone down with it at about the same time has to be horrendous! I was lucky. Neither of my boys ever got it ... but Mr. Mouse used to get tonsilitis and strep infections when he was a young man.

Gargling salt water used to help me ... but the ONLY thing that ever healed me ... was a shot of penicillin. Thank goodness I was never allergic to it.

<strong>I havent had strep since my teens...a while ago, and I had forgotten just how loverly it is, NOT. Oh, it has been a blast at this house. Thank goodness for TV, DVD's, non-violent video games and computers...I think that is how we all survived. We are on the Amoxicillen...good stuff!
